Host: Welcome to the Canada Revenue Agency's video International Students and Income Tax.
I'm your host, Sarah Taylor.
This video is intended for international students coming to Canada to study at a post-secondary level. Many of you will be filing tax returns for the first time, and have tax situations that are unique to you.
To make it easy for you to find the information you need most, we've divided this video into short segments on topics such as Residency and why it's important, Do I have to file a tax return?, and Scholarships, fellowships, and bursaries.
If you're looking at this for the first time, you may want to view the segments in sequence. As a reminder, you can view individual segments again later.
In each segment, I will be speaking with a presenter who has gathered information from the CRA on the topics discussed in this video.
Throughout this video, we will refer to links where you can find more information. You can find all of these links organized by segment by referring to the Related links for this video.
