You must re-apply to get another week

The Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB) provides a maximum of 6 payments and does not renew automatically. If you are eligible for another payment, you must apply for each 1-week period separately.

To re-apply, you must continue to meet all the eligibility criteria.

How to re-apply

You can only apply after the 1-week period you are applying for has ended. The application process is the same each time.

Determine when you can apply.

If you know when to apply, apply online or by phone.

When to expect your payment

If you're eligible for the CRSB, you can expect to get $500 ($450 after taxes withheld) for the 1-week period you applied for.
