Children's special allowances (CSA) calculation sheet 2014-2016
The monthly amount payable for each child is equal to:
- The maximum basic amount of the child tax benefit (CTB), plus
- The national child benefit supplement (NCBS) amount for one dependant (for applicable years).
- The CSA may also include a supplement amount for the child disability benefit (CDB).
- Current monthly CSA payments will be topped-up by a special allowance supplement of $160 for each child under 6 years old and $ 60 for each child aged 6 through 17.
