Update from the Compensation Client Service Centre – May 14

Further to our message on April 14 and April 17, we would like to provide you with an update on the Compensation Client Service Centre’s (CCSC) services.

Starting on May 19, in addition to the services currently being provided, the CCSC will be returning to full services, with the deployment of all remaining available compensation resources, working from home. This phase will include transactions such as:

  • Processing severance benefits;
  • Leave to cash on termination;
  • Processing professional dues reimbursement;
  • And remaining non-critical benefit letters.

In addition, our National Enquiries Services (NES) call centre will re-open on May 19, and can be reached at 1-866-549-3744. In order to provide optimal service during peak call in times, our hours of operation will change to 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET. After hours, you can leave a voice message and an agent will return your call.

Employees can find information at the Employee and Work Support – Pay and Benefits webpage and KnowHow for questions on upcoming life event changes, and can also send an email to the Compensation Client Service Centre or complete a general enquiries webform.

The CCSC continues to work hard to ensure that CRA employees continue to be paid and are able to support their families and loved ones during this pandemic. Of note, we will be operating at a reduced capacity, as not all compensation resources are available to return to work during this challenging time.

We appreciate your understanding, and we hope that you and your families are staying safe.
