Outreach officers can help if your organization works with people who are:
- Indigenous
- housing-insecure
- living on a modest income
- new to Canada
- 65 years and older
- students
- living with disabilities
Outreach officers can provide resources to help people meet their tax obligations

Host a free tax clinic
Make a difference in your community by helping people do their taxes
Doing taxes can be overwhelming, especially for people who are already in vulnerable situations. If they don’t do their taxes, they risk missing out on important benefit and credit payments.
By hosting a free tax clinic through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) or the Income Tax Assistance – Volunteer Program (ITAVP) in Quebec, your organization will help people who need support to do their taxes.
Thousands of organizations across Canada host free tax clinics each year!
