The appeal from the judgment of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Number COA-23-CR-1012, 2025 ONCA 318, dated April 28, 2025, was heard on January 22, 2026, and the Court on that day delivered the following judgment orally:

The Chief Justice — We are all of the view that the appeal should be dismissed, substantially for the reasons of the majority at the Court of Appeal of Ontario.

Therefore, the appeal is dismissed.
