T920 Application to amend a registered pension plan
Notice to the reader
The Registered Plans Directorate has developed new versions of Form T510, Application to Register a Pension Plan, and Form T920, Application to Amend a Registered Pension Plan. These forms were redesigned to streamline the plan registration and amendment processes by assessing the potential risk involved with each of these submissions. The glossary has also been updated.
As with previous versions of Form T510 and Form T920, you must answer all questions on the forms completely and accurately.
You must use the new version of the T510 E (16) and T920 E (16) for all plan registrations and amendments submitted after April 30, 2017. As of May 1, 2017, we will not accept applications that use a previous version of the T510 or T920. They will be returned to the sender. Incomplete forms will continue to be returned to the sender, as stated in Newsletter 04-2R, Registered Pension Plan Applications - Processing an Incomplete Application.
