First-time home buyers' GST/HST rebate


How to apply

How you apply for the rebate will depend on whether you purchased your home from a builder or built your home yourself. Choose one of the following for details.

  • Home purchased from a builder: Option 1

    How and when to apply if you purchased a home from a builder or bought a share of the capital stock of a co-op

  • Owner-built home: Option 2

    How and when to apply if you built your own home or substantially renovated your existing home
